Effective careers planning means exploring your options early. Our careers team are here to help. Whatever your age, course of study, plans or aspirations, the Careers Service is available to you. Professionally qualified careers advisers are available for consultation on career choice, further study options, presentation and other work place skills, jobsearch, applications/interview procedures and aptitude tests.
The Career Guidance Office contains a wide range of information on careers and further study options. Comprehensive information, internet access, computerised guidance programmes, video library etc., are all available to our students.

Career News for April
CAO
The late CAO application system is now open until May 1st.
Under the late application system you cannot apply for mature student places, or for restricted courses (mainly art, theatre and music courses).
The free of charge change of mind facility will operate between May 5th and July 1st.
Advanced entry to ITs
Applications for advanced entry to CIT courses are now made through the CAO website,
For advanced entry to DIT, IT Tallaght, NCAD, IT Blanchardstown and Dunlaoghaire IADT, application must also be made through CAO.
For other Institutes of Technology you apply online or download an application form from the relevant College website. Please contact the Careers office with any queries.
Applications to CSN
The online application system is now open for those interested in applying for CSN courses. To apply complete the application form on the college website, www.csn.ie.

The online grant application system for the academic year 2018-2019 is now open please contact the Career’s Office for advice and assistance.
CIT Music & Drama test dates
Entrance tests for CIT music and drama courses will take place in the School of Music, Union Quay, Cork, over three days on April 12th, 13th and 14th.
