Anatomy & Physiology QQI L5
Wednesday, 7-9.30pm 12 weeks
Learning about our bodies is a valuable lifelong skill and can be integrated into all aspects of our lives. Completing an Anatomy & Physiology course can be a gateway to a broad range of careers in the health professions e.g. Healthcare Assistant, Nursing studies, Holistic Massage, Nutrition studies, studying for the Sciences.

Basic Barbering
Monday 5.30-8pm 15 weeks
Beginners, newly qualified hairdressers or limited experience in barbering. You will learn the foundations of cutting men's hair, sectioning, scissor over comb techniques and basic clipper work. This course is designed to allow you to understand what is required to become a barber

Ceramics
Monday 4.30-6.30pm 10 weeks
Wednesday 7-9pm 10 weeks
Learn hand building techniques for ceramic sculpture and experience the potter’s wheel to make your own cups and bowls. All levels welcome from beginners to more advanced students. Students will gain practical skills, and explore a wide range of surface treatments tailored to each individual project.

Dress Making
Monday 7-9pm 10 weeks
Do you want to learn how to make your own clothes, add decoration or simply give old clothes new life? Learn how to cut a pattern to your size or make a garment to a professional standard. Learn how to use sewing machine correctly.

Early Childhood Curriculum
Tuesday 7-9.45pm 12 weeks
Early Childhood Curriculum 6N1944 is a component of the Childcare Level 6 Award. Objectives of the Programme Module: • To familiarise the learner with a range of pedagogical approaches in early childhood • To critically reflect on the role of the adult in delivering ECCE programmes.

Fun with Flowers
Monday 7-9pm 10 weeks
Put the power back into your petals with this fun course exploring the art and creativity of floristry. Seasonal arrangements for the home, church or special occasion. Suited to complete beginners and those wanting to improve their hobby skills. No pressure, just petals. No fuss, just fun!

Human Resources QQI L5
Monday 7-9.30pm 12 weeks
The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to understand the role of Human Resource Management within an organisation and to apply these concepts in the workplace.

Mindfulness
Wednesday 6.30-9pm
Mindfulness training is an opportunity to pause, stop and be still. Mindfulness is about seeing and accepting things are they are in the present moment, without wishing them to be different. Mindfulness helps to promote resilience and to reduce stress, to live life with greater contentment and improve concentration and mental clarity, build emotional intelligence, and the ability to relate to others and one’s self with kindness, acceptance, and compassion.

Mixed Textiles
Tuesday 7-9pm 8 weeks
Participants will be afforded the opportunity to acquire the basic stitches and techniques of crochet, knitting and embroidery, utilizing them in various projects. For example, in crochet and knitting, participants will be shown how to construct popular fashionable accessories, such as, scarves, cowls, small bags, baby cardigans and blankets.

Lino Printing
Monday 7-9pm10 weeks
Lino or Block printing is a simple and effective way to print beautiful Artwork
Learn how to carve and print your own on Paper, Cards, Bags, Fabric in a relaxed group environment.

Nutrition QQI L5
Monday 7-9.30pm 12 weeks
This programme aims to equip the learner with the knowledge and skill to explore: • The importance of healthy eating and its benefits to good health • The components of a healthy diet for all age groups • The process of digestion and the factors that affect it • The role of food and its significance in the management of a various conditions and diseases.

Special Needs Assisting QQI L5
Monday 7-9.45pm 12 weeks
The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the practices and principles underpinning the role of a Special Needs Assistant to enable the learner to work effectively under direction in a special needs capacity.

Special Needs Assisting QQI L6
Wednesday 7-9.45pm 12 weeks
The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the theory and practice underpinning the education and care of those who present with special educational needs to enable the learner to assist in the provision of this education and care.

Yoga for All
Monday 5.30-6.30pm 8 weeks
Yoga for additional needs students consists of gentle modified yoga poses, specialised breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, all adapted to individual abilities. It is fun, therapeutic and safe for children with down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, ADD/ADHD and those who have physical and learning difficulties. This course is open to 16-18 year olds.

Yoga
Monday 6.30-7.30pm 8 weeks
The priority is to make the practice of yoga accessible to everyone. I teach acceptance, patience and understanding in a safe, practical and engaging way. Ego free environment will allow students to flourish and realise their full potential. Yoga is more than a series of exercises, it teaches living in harmony among others and within yourself, as well as improving one's health and learning to quiet and focus the mind.
